This is a testimony of the challenges of campus mission, God's guidance, and the process of breaking down barriers to the gospel and saving souls, as experienced by missionary Kwon Soon-beom during his 11 years of ministry in Taiwan.

Vision of Mission: The Gospel to the Ends of the Earth

• God intended to make Israel a light to the Gentiles and to spread salvation to the ends of the earth.
• The power of the gospel is explosive, but the problem is that we, as witnesses, are ill-prepared.
• Jesus broke down the wall of partition between Jews and Gentiles.

The Reality and Challenges of Mission in Taiwan

• Taiwan is a barren land for the gospel, with a Christian population of just over 1%.
• 70% of the Seventh-day Adventist population are indigenous people, and there are difficulties in urban mission.
• Realistic obstacles exist, such as a super-aged society, low birth rates, and universities that have not received accreditation from the Ministry of Education.
• In an environment prone to earthquakes and typhoons, many folk religions are deeply rooted.

Strategy for Campus Mission: Korean Language and Food

• Crossing the language barrier, we created points of contact with students through Korean language flyers.
• We opened the hearts of students by providing free Korean classes and dinner.
• We operated a lunch prayer group, sharing the gospel through short 10-minute messages and praise.
• We expanded the doors for mission by utilizing interest in Korean culture, such as BTS.

The Fruits Brought by the Transformation of One Soul

• Starting with the baptism of one young man, his family and friends accepted the gospel in a chain reaction.
• A miraculous history unfolded where the transformation of one person led to the baptism of seven.
• The students who were baptized are now studying theology and preparing to become pastors in Taiwan.
• After graduation, the students became working professionals, began paying tithes, and formed a church organization.

The Future of Mission and Prayer Requests

• Taiwan now dreams of transforming from a country that receives missions to one that sends them.
• We are promoting the construction of a university student mission center and the organization of a scholarship fund for theology students.
• We look forward to the gospel being spread to the mainland and North Korea with Taiwan as a base.
• We ask that the saints lay down their prejudices and pray together for the opening of the doors of the gospel.
