Arrival & During-Camp Information
Please review this general information before arriving at WCKCM 2026. Your welcome email and Portal contain your registration-specific check-in code, assigned dorm, meal balance, and communication settings. Your room number is provided at check-in, not by email.
Arrival and Check-In
- Go to Registration at Graf Hall when you arrive.
- Registration hours are Sunday, July 19, 2:00–7:00 PM and 8:30–10:00 PM, and Monday, July 20, 1:00–3:00 PM.
- KM Registration Office hours are Sunday, July 19, 2:00–10:00 PM; Monday, July 20, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00–5:00 PM; Tuesday, July 21, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM; Wednesday, July 22, 7:00–10:00 PM; Thursday, July 23, 2:00–5:00 PM and 7:00–10:00 PM; Friday, July 24, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM; Saturday, July 25, 8:00–10:00 PM for bus arrivals only; and Sunday, July 26, 8:00–10:00 AM.
- Have the check-in QR code from your welcome email ready. Staff can also find your registration by name, email, phone, or registration code.
- At Registration, collect room/access instructions and any applicable wristband or KM badge, prepaid Garden Cafe tickets, WCKCM T-shirts, parking permit, and preordered linen package. Linen packages are not available for onsite purchase.
- If you will arrive midweek, reply to your welcome email with the arrival date and estimated time so packet pickup can be arranged in advance.
- Every registered attendee—including every child—has their own credential. EM attendees use their personal digital Wallet pass and do not receive a physical badge. KM attendees receive a physical badge and may also install their digital pass for convenience. Any required wristband is issued separately at check-in.
Dorm Access, Room Care, and Checkout
- Your room-finalization email identifies your assigned dorm but intentionally does not include a room number. Registration will provide the room number and access instructions at check-in.
- McReynolds and Nichol Halls use code-lock access. They do not issue physical room keys; do not share the access code.
- Winning, Andre, Newton, Grainger, and Graf use physical keys. Pick up the key at check-in and return it to the Winning Hall Front Desk before departure.
- Andre Hall is the only dorm where portable air conditioners are permitted because its upgraded electrical system supports them. Attendees assigned to Andre may bring a portable AC unit; portable AC units are not permitted in any other dorm.
- WCKCM does not collect a cash key deposit at check-in. A lost or unreturned physical key is charged at $20 per key.
- Rooms provide two beds and mattresses plus toilet paper only. Bring bedding, pillows, towels, soap, and toiletries. Personal air mattresses or camping mats may be used for extra floor bedding, but moving a PUC mattress onto the floor results in a $100 charge.
- Cooking, microwaves, and refrigerators are not allowed in dorm rooms. Water and ice are available at the cafeteria during meals. Fire-department response costs caused by cooking will be charged.
- Pets are prohibited: $100 for a first incident, $1,000 for a second incident plus a campus ban, or $1,500 plus cleaning fees if found inside a dorm room.
- Dorm checkout is Sunday by 10:00 AM. Put trash in dumpsters or trash chutes at the rear or side of the residence hall. Trash left in rooms, hallways, lobby bins, or other unapproved locations is charged at $25 per bag.
- Return moved furniture and leave the room in the required condition. Other documented damage, extraordinary cleaning, or missing property may be charged at actual repair, cleaning, or replacement cost. Leaving earlier than registered does not create a lodging discount or refund.
Digital Wallet Passes, Wristbands, and KM Badges
- Digital passes are available to both EM and KM attendees. EM uses the pass instead of a physical badge; KM still receives a physical badge even if the pass is installed.
- Our first preference is for every adult attendee to install their own pass on their own phone before arrival. Open the WCKCM Attendee Portal on that phone, go to Attendee Wallet Passes, and tap the available Add to Wallet button.
- Apple Wallet: use a compatible, up-to-date iPhone with the built-in Wallet app. Tap Add to Apple Wallet in the Portal, review the attendee name, then tap Add in the upper-right corner.
- Google Wallet: use a Play Protect-certified phone running Android 9 or later, signed in to a personal Google Account. Install or update Google Wallet and Google Play services, tap Add to Google Wallet in the Portal, and follow the on-screen instructions. Work profiles and rooted devices are not supported by Google Wallet.
- NFC is required only for tap-style use; it is not required to display the pass QR code. If your phone supports NFC, turn it on before arrival. Keep the phone charged and select the correct attendee’s pass before each scan or tap.
- Send another adult's secure installation link to that adult's own verified phone number or email. A minor with their own compatible phone may install their own pass; a child without their own device should use the wristband or badge issued for them.
- Each pass and QR code belongs only to the person named on it. Install only from the Portal, and do not share, forward, or transfer a pass from the Wallet app.
- For quicker access during camp, save wckcm.org to the phone's Home screen. The Wallet Pass guide includes current Safari and Android Chrome instructions.
- On an NFC-enabled Apple pass, Apple places the QR code on the back of the pass. Tap the pass details control to show it when QR scanning is needed.
- If you do not have a compatible phone or cannot install or open a pass, contact Registration for help before you need to use it. EM attendees should not expect a printed badge as the normal fallback.
- Each digital pass, wristband, or KM badge has an attendee-specific QR code used for meals and applicable program check-in.
- Leave about two fingers of space when securing a wristband so it stays comfortable. Wristbands are waterproof and should remain on during camp.
- Do not exchange passes, wristbands, or badges. Each code belongs to the attendee whose name appears on it.
Meal Tickets: QR Codes, Transfers, and Guest Purchases
- WCKCM supports Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. Our recommended first choice is for every attendee with their own compatible phone to install and use their Wallet pass instead of relying on a wristband or badge for meals and QR/NFC check-in.
- There are no paper meal tickets. Bring the attendee’s digital pass, wristband, or KM badge to Dining Commons so the correct QR code can be scanned for each meal.
- Register every person who will eat—including children and spouses—and select meal tickets for each attendee.
- Meal tickets are generally shared within the registration family unless a specific allocation policy applies. If eligible meals are used after pre-purchased tickets run out, the saved payment method is billed at the $16 onsite price by default.
- Each attendee uses their own allocation first. By default, additional use draws from the family pool and remains visible as individual over-allocation. The primary registrant can instead deny additional use or bill the primary registrant separately, with different policies for minors and other adults.
- To transfer unused tickets to another registered family, open Transfer Meal Tickets in the Portal, choose Another family, enter the quantity, and scan or paste the recipient family's registration code or any attendee badge QR code. The tickets move to the recipient's family pool, not to one person, and the transfer is final unless Support reverses it.
- To give tickets to someone who is not registered, open Gift tickets to a guest in the Portal. Enter the guest's name, mobile number, and ticket quantity, then send the SMS. The guest receives a web QR ticket—not an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass—and can buy more tickets from that same page.
- A guest who does not already have a web QR link should ask Registration at Graf Hall to send a personalized Guest Meal Tickets purchase link by SMS or email. Guests may buy 1–20 tickets from that link with no attendee meal minimum; the regular attendee registration link is not the guest purchase link.
- Meals are served Monday morning through Saturday evening: breakfast 7:30–8:45 AM, lunch 11:30 AM–1:00 PM, and dinner 5:00–6:30 PM.
- Registered families can add tickets in the Portal. When an eligible attendee uses a Wallet pass, wristband, or badge QR code after the prepaid balance runs out, the additional ticket can be purchased automatically at the meal scanner using the saved payment method and family policy. Purchase any additional Sabbath meal tickets before sundown Friday. Meal tickets are non-refundable because the cafeteria purchases ingredients based on tickets sold.
Install or learn about Wallet Passes
Use the Portal to see remaining tickets and meal usage, transfer or donate unused tickets, and change saved-card, family-pool, and meal-alert preferences.
Bus Schedule, Pickup, and Drop-Off

- Return drop-off uses the three Southern California church stops listed above. The final drop-off order and timing will be included in the pre-camp confirmation.
- A bus coordinator will contact riders to confirm their ride. Times and locations are subject to change; WCKCM will send final confirmation before camp.
Children and Program Check-In
- Keep each child’s credential available throughout camp and bring the child’s digital pass, wristband, or KM badge to meals and any program check-in or check-out that uses QR scanning.
- Check VBS children in and out at the VBS/child desk; staff may scan the child’s digital pass, wristband, or KM badge.
- VBS check-in/check-out notifications follow the communication preferences in the Portal.
- If pickup should be restricted to specific adults or guardians, update the VBS pickup preference in the Portal before arrival or tell the VBS desk at check-in.
Lost or Damaged QR Items
- Take a lost or damaged wristband or KM badge, an unavailable phone, or any digital-pass or QR-code issue to Registration or the nearest check-in/help desk.
- Staff will deactivate the old code and issue a replacement so the missing code cannot be used by someone else.
Site Policies and Communication
- Help maintain a safe, respectful, Christ-centered environment and follow campus, dorm, program, meal-service, and youth-safety instructions.
- Report safety, medical, facility, or conduct concerns promptly to event staff.
- Call 911 for a life-threatening emergency. Report other incidents and bring lost-and-found items to Registration in Graf Hall.
- Weapons, fireworks, explosives, flammable chemicals, alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs are prohibited. Do not tamper with or remove windows or window screens.
- Helmets must be worn when riding scooters, skateboards, or bicycles on campus.
- Worship services, seminars, programs, and public gathering areas may be photographed, recorded, or live-streamed, and attendees may appear in event media.
