WCKCM Wallet Pass Guide
Our first preference is for every adult attendee to install their own Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass before arriving. It is the quickest way to use meals and supported check-in stations while keeping each person's activity accurate.
Apple Wallet for compatible iPhones · Google Wallet for compatible Android phones
Install Wallet PassesInstall on the attendee's phone
- 1Open the WCKCM Attendee Portal on the phone that will carry the pass. Wallet passes cannot be installed from a desktop computer.
- 2Open Attendee Wallet Passes. The primary registrant can install their own pass immediately on that phone.
- 3For another adult, enter that adult's own mobile number or email and send the secure installation link. The recipient verifies the destination before installing.
- 4International or Wi-Fi-only phones can use email instead of SMS. Install only from the Portal; do not share or forward a pass from Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Save WCKCM as an app
- 1iPhone or iPad: open wckcm.org in Safari. Tap the Share button, scroll down, and tap Add to Home Screen. Turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
- 2Android: open wckcm.org in Chrome. Tap More (the three-dot menu), tap Add to home screen, then tap Install and follow the prompt.
- 3If Android shows Create shortcut instead of Install, you may use it; the WCKCM icon will still appear on the Home screen but will open in Chrome.
- 4Open WCKCM from its Home screen icon for quicker access to the Portal, Wallet Passes, meal balances, schedules, and event notifications.
Use QR or NFC
- 1Open the named attendee's pass and present its QR code at meals and supported program or check-in stations.
- 2At an NFC-enabled station, hold the phone near the WalletMate reader. QR remains available as the dependable fallback.
- 3Keep the phone charged. Staff can also type the short Scan Code printed on the pass if a camera cannot read the QR code.
- 4Each pass belongs only to the person named on it. Staff may confirm the attendee name before recording activity.
Individual allocation and family pool
- 1Purchased and optional meal tickets are allocated to individual attendees so the Portal can compare each person's allocation with actual use.
- 2A meal scan consumes the attendee's own allocation first. By default, additional use then draws from remaining tickets in the registration's family pool.
- 3Using the family pool does not hide individual activity. The Portal marks the attendee as over their own allocation while showing the family's remaining total.
- 4The primary registrant's pass can show both the primary attendee's remaining meals and the remaining family pool.
Choose what happens when an allocation runs out
- 1The primary registrant can set separate policies for minors and for other adults in the registration.
- 2Use family pool: continue using available family tickets. This is the default.
- 3Deny extra meals: stop the redemption when that attendee's own allocation is exhausted.
- 4Bill primary registrant: purchase the additional meal for that attendee instead of using tickets allocated elsewhere in the group.
Track usage and manage tickets
- 1In Portal > Meals & Updates, review allocation, actual use, over-allocation indicators, family balance, and on-site purchases by attendee.
- 2Choose alerts for low allocation, exhausted allocation, family-pool use, and purchases. A second adult can also receive selected meal and VBS notifications.
- 3Transfer unused tickets to another registration or donate them to a program or the open assistance pool. Transfers use unassigned family-pool tickets before reducing a person's remaining allocation.
- 4Saved-card meal purchases and minor purchase permissions can be changed in the same Portal section.
Minors and physical fallback
- 1A high-school student or other minor with their own compatible phone may receive and install their own pass using their own verified phone number or email.
- 2Do not send a minor's pass to a guardian or chaperone who is listed only for communication. A pass installed on someone else's device does not serve as the minor's personal credential.
- 3Children without their own compatible device should use the wristband or badge issued for them. Registration can also provide a physical fallback when an adult cannot reliably use a phone.
Need help?
Bring any installation, dead-battery, lost-device, or incorrect-pass issue to Registration. Staff can deactivate a lost code and issue a replacement without changing the attendee's meal history.
